THIS SHOP!!!!Is amazing. My car has not driven that well since i bought it, My car was runined by another shop in town, i had my car towed to Maxi's and i have to tell you, they were patient working with me, got me done right when the other shop wanted to do the bare minimum, but Maxi's was not hearing that nonsense and fought to get my car done right. I will never go anywhere else to fix me car!!!! you have just earned a customer for life

I bet you most of the one thousand+ five star reviews are about oil changes and small services like that. In my case, I needed a spark plug change in my Jeep Cherokee. I already had a computer scan in my hand that showed the problem. It is a fairly simple job that can be completed in a couple of hours. I called days in advance to get an appointment and they told me to bring the car at 9am. They quoted $700+ over the phone, which is at the high end for a job of that type that usually requires a couple of small additional changes to get it done. Being such a "high rated" place, I left the car and they assured me the job would be done the same day. Six hours later they had not touched the car. They called me and quoted almost $1,000 for the job and, of course, they said it was already late in the day to get it done, so I had to bring it the next day. So , it was a whole day wasted just to get an inflated quote at the end. How can you give five star to a shop with unreliable scheduling, upselling tactics and just plainly overpriced...? They are very polite, I give them that, but that is just about it.

I had such a great experience at Maxis Auto Shop on Beach Blvd. I was convinced there was something scratching inside my passenger door and honestly thought an animal had somehow gotten inside. I called several shops beforehand, and no one was willing to help or fit me in, so I was feeling pretty discouraged. When I called Maxis, Eric answered the phone and was incredibly kind and helpful. He got me in the same day, explained what I could expect, and even gave me an estimate over the phone, which I really appreciated. When I arrived, they took my car in right away with no wait. Everyone was thorough, professional, and genuinely cared about figuring out what was going on. The funniest part? Before they even had to take my door apart, they discovered the “culprit”—a dung beetle hiding in the door pocket! We all had a good laugh, and instead of charging me for unnecessary work, they simply removed it, put it in a container for me, and sent me on my way. In a situation where another shop easily could have taken my door apart and billed me for work that wasn’t needed, they chose honesty instead. That says a lot about their integrity. I can’t thank Eric and the team enough for their

Highly recommended! For 4 years we have had regular maintenance done on our families used Ford Escape, Lexus Hybrid, Volve X90 with Maxi and are always more than satisfied with the work and communication. This week we had a medical emergency that forced a very last minute cancellation of engine shield repair. When I called back they fit me in the next morning first thing, didn’t charge me and had me back on the road in 15 minutes so I could make it to the hospital for my family members surgery. Now that is customer service. THANK YOU again!!

My family and I have brought our vehicles here several times for different needs, and the experience has always been great. I recently came in for a simple headlight issue, and Maxi’s Auto Repair provided excellent customer service. They also performed a full inspection and gave clear estimates for any recommended repairs, which I really appreciated. Thank you for your consistently excellent service and for always being available when we need you. Thank you, Soraya
